Mrs. Frank Berth Passes Away Near Millersville Today
Millersville -- Mrs. Frank Berth, aged 70, who resided near MIllersville, died this morning at 1:45 o'clock after a lingering illness.
She was born on October 25, 1860. He maiden name was Wilhelmina Wilke. On November 24, 1888, she was united in marriage to Frank Berth. After their marriage the couple settled on a farm near School Hill. Farms were also conducted near Sheboygan Falls and Spring Valley. For the past nineteen years they have resided near Millersville.
The deceased is survived by her husband and seven children: Henry of Millersville, Mrs. Richard Sommer of Mosel, Mrs. John Ney of Mosel, Edgar of Mosel, Arthur of Millersville, Herman at home, Mrs. August Illig of Pound, Wis., and an adopted son, Herbert Sohn. She had nine grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Julius Rautmann of School Hill and Mrs. Henry Dittmann of Cleveland, and three brothers, Herman Wilke of Cleveland, August of Plymouth, and Oscar of Centerville also survive.
The body will be removed from the funeral home to the home at 4 o'clock Thursday. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church near Millersville. Rev. H. Peter will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
