Plymouth, Wis. -- (Special) -- August Wilke, 75, passed away at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Deicher, in town of Sherman on Monday at 6:15 p.m. after an illness of seven months.
Deceased was born Jan 5, 1866, in town of Mosel, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Wilke, and was married to Miss Martha Gosse on December 26, 1901, and resided in town of Herman until 1908 when they moved to town of Lyndon. For the past year and nine months they have resided with Mr. and Mrs. Deicher.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Norbert, of Plymouth, and Edwin, of town of Plymouth; one daughter, Mrs. Ervin (Anita) Deicher of town of Sherman; four grandchildren; a brother, Oscar, of Centerville; a sister, Mrs. Julius Rautmann of School Hill. A daughter, Dorothy, two brothers and two sisters, preceded him in death. Deceased was a member of the Germania society of Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wittkopp Funeral home in Plymouth, the Rev. H. G. Schmid officiating and burial will be made in Woodlawn cemetery. Friends may view the body at the funeral home beginning Thursday afternoon.
