Edgar H. Berth, 72, of the Town of Centerville, died Sunday noon at St. Nicholas Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born Nov. 14, 1895, in the Town of Sheboygan Falls, a son of the late Frank and Wilhelmina (Wilke) Berth.
Mr. Berth and his twin brother, Arthur, moved to a farm in the Town of Centerville in 1932, where they later manufactured some farm machinery. The brother died in 1967.
Since that time Mr. Berth made his home with his sister, Mrs. August (Elsa) Illig at Louis Corners.
He was a member of the First Memorial Chapel, Manitowoc.
Survivors are a brother, Henry, Howards Grove-Millersville; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Sommer, and Mrs. John (Hulda) Ney, both of Sheboygan; and Mrs. August (Elsa) Illig, Louis Corners; and one foster brother, Herbert Sohn, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Stoltenberg Funeral Chapels, Cleveland, Wednesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. George Sherman, Sheboygan, officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral chapels Tuesday after 3 p.m.
