George Kissinger, 70, died suddenly at his home in Ada at 11 p.m. Monday. He was born July 4, 1883, in the Town of Rhine, the son of the late Jacob and Carolina Feldman Kissinger.
On May 21, 1910, he was married to Miss Anna Wolf of the town of Meeme. The couple operated the Wolf homestead farm until three years ago. The past six months they had been living in Ada.
Kissinger was employed at Wagner Bros. in the town of Meeme. He was a member of St. John's Ev. and Reformed Church at Schwartzwald.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Reuben (Elvera) Bunge, Plymouth R. 1; three sons, Clarence, town of Meeme; Oliver, Cleveland; and Burton, at home: six grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Edwin Sinner, and a brother, Carl, both of the town of Rhine. Three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Ev. and Reformed Church, Schwartzwald. The Rev. William Schultz, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Wildwood cemetery, Sheboygan.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral home from 2 p.m. Wednesday until 10:30 a.m. Thursday when the body will be taken to the church where it can be viewed from 11:30 until the time of services.
