John F. Kissinger, 71, retired farmer, died at his home at Elkhart Lake Sunday evening. Born March 27, 1878, in the town of Rhine, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kissinger, he was married Oct. 27, 1900, to Minnie Feldmann in the town of Rhine.
Survivors are his wife; the following children, Mrs. Calvin (Cynthia) Hanke and Mrs. Arno (Irene) Mauk of the town of Plymouth, Mrs. Gilbert (Ovila) Horneck of the town of Herman; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister, George of the town of Meeme, Carl of the town of Rhine, and Mrs. Edwin Sinner of the town of Rhine. He parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Wittkopp Funeral Home at Plymouth with the Rev. Otto Menke of the Salem Evangelical and Reformed church of the town of Sheboygan Falls officiating. Burial will be made in St Peter cemetery in the town of Rhine.
