Mrs. Adeline E. Cline, age 68, of 623 Wisconsin St., Adell, passed away Friday afternoon at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center where she had been a patient one day.
She was born July 15, 1919, in the Town of Mosel, a daughter of the late Richard and Clara Berth Sommer. She attended the Elm Grove District School in the Town of Mosel.
On October 28, 1948, she was married at Faith Evangelical Church in Milwaukee to Russell Cline. The couple lived in Port Washington until 1962 when they moved to Batavia and since 1970 have been in Adell.
She had been employed at the Kohler Company, the Port Washington Chair Company and the DeSoto Chemical Company in Fredonia.
She is a member of the Zion United Methodist Church at Batavia.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Kathy (Larry) Heitzmann of Sheboygan; four sons, Gary (Bev) of Oostburg; Randy (Diane) of Oostburg, Russell Jr. (Lori) of Adell, and Michael (Vicki) of Adell; 16 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Gertrude (Edwin) Hickman of Arizona City, Arizona and two brothers, Herbert (Olive) Sommer of Sheboygan, and Marvin (Bernice) Sommer of Haven, Wis.
The funeral service will be on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Zion United Methodist Church in Batavia. The Rev. Hazel A. Winterburn, pastor of the church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Sheboygan Wildwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 4 p.m. Sunday until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in the name of Adeline Cline.
