Marvin R. Sommer, age 84, passed away at Rocky Knoll Healthcare Center.
He was born on the Sommer Homestead in the Town of Mosel, a son of the late Richard and Clara (Berth) Sommer.
On December 25, 1949, Bernice Goeke and Marvin were united in marriage.
Bernice preceded him in death on November 19, 1999.
Surviving Marvin are his two sons, Dennis and Ronald (Cori); four daughters, Marilyn (Jorge) Rincon and Jeanne (Russ) Donovan, Karen (Mark) Johnson and Judith Sommer; a son-in-law, Alan Hazuga; Grandchildren: Michelle, Shovahn and Steven Rincon, Jennifer (Ryan) Greenstreet, Joe, Matt and Sarah Hazuga, Anna, Ruth and Neil Donovan, Paul and Craig Johnson, Gena and Heidi Sommer, Monica and Kevin Sommer; Great-grandchildren, Sandra and Clover Hazuga, Bradley Hocker.
In addition to Marvin's wife Bernice and his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Hazuga, granddaughter, Sheila Sommer, one brother and his wife, Herbert (Olive) Sommer; two sisters and their husbands, Gertrude (Ed) Hickman and Adeline (Russell Sr.) Cline.
