Mrs. Ella Thieleke, 88, a resident of the Beach Health Care Center, died Tuesday evening, November 29, 1988. The former Ella Buchberger was born April15, 1900 in the Town of Wilson, the daughter of the late John and Anna Hauser Buchberger.

On January 20, 1920, she and Theodore Kress were married. He died October 25, 1940. Two sons were born to them, Vernon Kress, of Cleveland and Herbert Kress, of Sheboygan; six grandchildren.

On June 14, 1943 she married Walter Thieleke, of the Town of Meeme, he died June 10, 1977. There are two step-children, Dr. Vernon A. Thieleke, of Howards Grove and one daughter, Mrs. Delores (Ray) Karsteadt, of rural Plymouth. There are numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Preceding her in dearth were a brother and two sisters.

She was a member of St. John - St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cleveland. Private funeral services will be held Friday, 10 a.m. at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. The Rev. Henry F. Koch, pastor of St. John - St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. George Cemetery, Cleveland.

Friends may call at Ballhorns from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
