Alice E. Baumann, 82, wife of Edgar, of 1833 N. 19th St., died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999 at Beach Health Care Center of the Retirement Home.
Born Sept. 9, 1917 in Sheboygan Alice was a daughter of William and Olga Rautmann Voss.
On June 9, 1937, she was united in marriage to Edgar R. Baumann in Louis Corners, Wis.
She was a member of St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and dancing and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Alice is survived by her husband, Edgar; tow daughters and two sons, Janice (Joel) Gordon, Highland Park, Ill.; Sharon (James) Richter, Sheboygan; William (fiancee, Nancy Hanson) Baumann Sr., Sheboygan; Steven Baumann, Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Robin Richter, Anthony (Debra) Richter, Catherine Richter, Victoria (Samson) Tan, James Gordon, Karl Baumann and William Baumann Jr.; six great-grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie and Steven Fredrich, Jaclyn and Neil Richter and Sidney Tan,; further survived by two sisters and two brothers, Gladys (Merlin) Schleunes, Kiel; Orville Voss, Kiel, Wis; Delores (Vernon) Kress, Cleveland, Wis. and Willis (Delores) Voss Newton, Wis.; may nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother and two brothers and a sister, Kenneth and Roger Voss and Agnes Oehldrich.
Funeral services for Alice will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Lippert Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. The Rev. Alan Kretschmar, pastor of St. Paul Evangelical Church will officiate.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the hour of the service. Interment will be in the Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
