EDGAR Services for Edward Burish, 75, of Edgar, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Kraemer Funeral Home in Marathon and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marathon. Mr. Burish died Thursday morning at a Wausau hospital. The Rev. Lloyd F. Geissler, pastor, will officiate, with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Visitations may be made after 3 p.m. today (Friday) at the Kraemer Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock tonight. Mr. Burish, a lifelong resident of the Marathon area, was born July 23, 1899, in Kellnersville. He was a self-employed cheesemaker until his retirement in 1964. His marriage on Nov. 14, 1922, at Cleveland was to the former Leora Jost, who preceded him in death Aug. 30, 1961. Survivors include four-daughters, Mrs. David Wadzinski, Marathon, Sister Beatrice, Milwaukee, Mrs. Clarence Skrzpchak, Niles, Ill., and Mrs. Roland Reid, Franklin; 12 sons, Ruben, Two Rivers, Marlen, Edgar, James, Elton, John and Kenneth, all of Marathon, Anthony, Warsaw, Michael, Milwaukee, Thomas, Merrill, and Edward Jr. and Norbert, both of Wausau; a brother, Jacob, Oconto Falls; 41 grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
