Reuben R. Burish, age 88, of 2717 Forest Avenue, Two Rivers, died Tuesday morning, April 8, 2014, at Aurora Medical Center, Manitowoc County.

Reuben was born November 6, 1925, in Francis Creek, son of the late Edward and Leora (Jost) Burish. He was employed at Suettinger Sheet Metal in Two Rivers until his retirement in 1984 and farmed Ginseng from 1978 until 2004.

Survivors include two daughters: Susan Burish (Jennie Schacht), Oakland, CA; Marianne Burish (Nicole Mantyh), Glendale, WI; two sons and one daughter-in-law: John and Cher Burish, Manitowoc; Richard Burish, San Francisco; three grandchildren: Dustin Burish, Ashleigh Burish, Owen Mantyh; mother of his children: Gloria Burish, Manitowoc; seven brothers and six sisters-in-law: Jim and Lillian Burish, John and Susie Burish, all of Marathon City; Tom and Kathy Burish, Merrill; Norbie and Barbara Burish, Wausau; Elton and Joyce Burish, Marathon City; Eddie and Mary Jane Burish, Wausau; Mike Burish, Milwaukee; two sisters: Janet Skrzypchak, Niles, IL; Shirley Reid, Hot Springs Village, AR; four sisters-in-law: Lou Ann Burish, Marathon City; Shirley Burish, Warsaw, IN; Dawn Mae Burish, Wausau; LaVeda Grimm, Two Rivers; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: George and Sue Grimm, Brookfield. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Reuben was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Beatrice (David) Wadzinski, Eugene (Donna) Burish, Marlin (Theresa) Burish, Tony Burish, Kenny Burish, Sr. Beatrice Burish, Baby Margaret Burish and one brother-in-law: Clarence Skrzypchak.

A visitation to celebrate Reuben will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Cremation will follow and burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
