Arvin H. Roethel, age 86, formerly of 1426 S 19th St., died Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 6, 1999 at the Beach Health Care Center where he was a resident.
Arvin was born May 14, 1912 in the town of Meeme, a son of the late Henry and Alisa (Mittela) Schultz Roethel.
On June 13, 1936, he was united in marriage to Delia May Miller. They resided in the Sheboygan area where he was employed by the Kohler Co. and also farmed until his retirement in 1 970.
Arvin is survived by his wife, Delia, and their two children, Tom (Terri) Roethel and Sandra (Neal) Roe, both of Sheboygan. He is further survived by seven grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Arvin will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8 at the Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home Southside Chapel. Rev. Milton Ford, pastor of St. Luke United Methodist Church, will officiate. Entombment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
