Mrs. Henry A. Koch, 74, of 2217 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, died Sunday
morning at home.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mittnacht Funeral
Home and at 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Allan Jirkovec will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Koch, nee Margaret O’Leary, was born June 22, 1894, at Maple Grove,
daughter of the late Daniel and Brigitt Mullins O’Leary. She graduated
from Reedsville High School and the Manitowoc County Normal School.
She taught school in Manitowoc County for eight years before her marriage
to Henry A. Koch in July of 1919. They made their home at Manitowoc.
Her husband survives along with two sons, Derwood of Rantool, Ill., and
John E. with the United States Air Force at Charleston, S.C.; two
daughters, Mrs. Donald Schneider of Manitowoc and Mrs. Harold Holschuh
of Green Bay; a brother, John, of Maple Grove; a sister, Mrs. Nel Bergner,
of Manitowoc; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A son, Harold,
preceded her in death in 1964.
Friends may call at the funeral home where at 8 o’clock this Monday evening
the Rosary will be recited by members of the Christian Mothers Altar Society
of the church, the Third Order of St. Francis, the Catholic Women’s Club,
and the Holy Family Hospital Guild of Manitowoc. Mrs. Koch was a member of
the four organizations.
