Julius Wilke

Julius Wilke, 62, of 2013 N. 40th St., died Wednesday afternoon shortly after being admitted to Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. He had been ill several months with a heart ailment.

Mr. Wilke had been a truck driver for Kohler Co. for 35 years until retiring last December.

Born in the Town of Mosel, May 5, 1907, he was the son of the late Henry and Sophie Boll Wilke.

He attended district school at Haven and was confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church there.

On Sept. 1, 1926, he married Miss Augusta Adam in Our Savior's Lutheran Church there.

He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Kohler Quarter Century Club.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Roger, Sheboygan,, four daughters, Mrs. Robert Hansen (Joyce), Racine, and Mrs. Peter Beyer (Barbara), Mrs. Malcolm Sabrowsky, (Patricia) and Mrs. Robert Gottsacker (Judith), Sheboygan; 17 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Herbert Hinz, Mosel, and a brother, George, Sheboygan.

Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Ballhorn Chapels with the Rev. Robert B. Ehlers, Our Redeemer pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 5 p.m. today.
