HELMUTH BOELDT

Helmuth O. Boeldt, 88, former Town of Schleswig resident, died Tuesday evening, June 28, 1988 at Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, where he resided for the past 7 1/2 years. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Friday at Bethlehem United Church of Christ. Rev. James Sizelove will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Boeldt was born April 14, 1900 at the Town of Meeme, son of the late William and Bertha Baars Boeldt. He attended grade school in the Town of New Holstein. He
married the former Edna Bratz on July 8, 1925 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Town of Schleswig. Mr. Boeldt worked at Volrath Company of Sheboygan before moving to the Town of Schleswig, where he farmed until retiring in 1952. His wife preceded him in death April 28, 1983. Mr. Boeldt was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Norman Boeldt of Howards Grove and Vernon Boeldt of New Holstein; six daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Kermit (Mabel) Liermann and Mrs.
Markus (Lorraine) Nagel, both of Valders, Mrs. Otto (Marion) Hartwig of Plymouth, Mrs. Dennis (Bernice) Hasenstein of Sheboygan, Mrs. Donald (Betty) Groth of Oshkosh and Mrs. Garret (Jane) Hanke of rural Plymouth; a sister, Mrs. Hilda Klemm of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin; 33 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Frank Mueller, two brothers, two sisters and a daughter, Mrs. Willard (Fern) Leiteritz.

Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, 4 pm to 9 pm Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 11 am and then at the church from 12 noon until the hour of service. A
memorial has been established in his name.
