She came to this city in May, 1872, from Altoona, Pa., with her husband, Thomas A. Douglas. In September of this year she would have been 86 years old. Three children, May D. Douglas and Mrs. J.D. Von Kennel of Cheyenne and Mrs. A.R. Whitely of Denver survive her.
Mrs. Douglas enjoyed a large acquaintanceship in this city and was prominent in church work.
