Mrs. Katie Kaufmann, widow of Frank Kaufmann, died Wednesday evening at the family home, 2302 Washington street, after a lingering illness.
The funeral will be Saturday morning 8:30, from the Pfeffer funeral home, and at 9 o'clock from the St. Boniface Catholic church, the Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Friday morning on.
The rosary will be recited tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock.
Mrs. Kaufmann, nee Katie Jost, was born in Cleveland on May 12, 1882, (sic) and had lived in Manitowoc county all her life. She was married in 1902 and her husband preceded her in death in 1939.
Four children, Mrs. Irene Spackmann, Miss Georgianna, and Francis at home, and Mrs. Harry Korten of Two Rivers, survive along with a brother, Edwin Jost of Cleveland; and four sisters, Mrs. Charles Acker, and Mrs. Joseph Wautruba, both of this city, Mrs. Edward Burish, Marytown, and Mrs. Paul Hessel, Francis Creek.
