Mrs. Charles Acker, 53, of 1829 Michigan avenues, died this morning at her home
following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9 am. Wednesday at the Pfeffer funeral home,
the Rev. E. A. Radey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body
may be viewed at the Pfeffer funeral home from 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of
services.
Mrs. Acker was born Flora Just in Cleveland in 1896. She moved to Manitowoc in
1933 and was married to Charles Acker.
Survivors are the husband; four daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Granger of Manitowoc,
Mrs. Joseph Buchberger of Cleveland, Mrs. Harold Budsberg of Merrill and Mrs.
Earl LeCLair of Manitowoc; brother, Edward Just of Cleveland; three sisters,
Mrs. Joseph Wotruba of Manitowoc, Mrs. Ed Burich of Marathon, and Mrs. Paul
Hessel of Francis Creek; and six grandchildren.
