Margaret Singer, age 91, a resident of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, died early Saturday morning, March 30, 1996, at the Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 1996, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Margaret Keune was born October 17, 1904, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Baumann Keune. On September 15, 1925, she married Leo A. Singer at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mrs. Singer was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Parish Women.
Survivors include her husband, Leo A. Singer, Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Janice Singer, Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret (Sally) and Glenn Weekes, Manitowoc, Mary and John Platner, Hartland, Wis. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Keune, a sister, Ida Monroe, a grandson, Scott Singer, and a granddaughter, Kathleen Weekes.
Friends may call at st. Paul's Catholic Church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at 11 a.m.
There will be no Monday evening visitation.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
