Mrs. Roehl was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Wunsch, was born in the town of Mosel May 7, 1857, and married to Fred Roehl in 1874. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Dec. 8, 1924.
Eight of nine children born to the couple survive her; they are; Mrs. Herman Bergner and Mrs. Chas. Doersch of Cleveland, Mrs. August Fischer of Timothy, Mrs. Ed. Gutnecht of DePere, Mrs. Herman Gutenberger and Mrs. Arthur Erbstoezer of Haven, Mrs. Ernst Jaehnig of Centerville, and Edward of Mosel. Also three brothers, Otto Wunsch of Haven, Henry of Sheboygan and Edeard of Mosel, two sisters, Mrs. John Duesing and Mrs. Carl Stoltenberg of Cleveland, twenty-seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren survive her.
Burial was made in the Wildwood cemetery in Sheboygan.
