Mrs. Ida Wagner, 81, of Route 1, Newton, passed away suddenly following a heart attack at her home Sunday morning.

Nee Ida Sohn, she was born December 20, 1872 in the town of Centerville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Sohn. On April 11, 1898, she was married to Otto Wagner.

The couple operated a farm until 1948 when they built their present home and retired. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1948.

Survivors include three sons, Clifford of Black Creek, Eugene and Hilbert of Route 1, Newton, one daughter Mrs. Carl Leitritz of Cleveland; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers Leo and Julius of Route 1 Newton.

Her husband, parents and two sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday at the St. James Evangelical and reformed church, Spring Valley. The Rev. Carl G Schmahl will officiate and burial will be made in the Wildwood cemetery, Sheboygan.

The body will lie in state at the Stoltenberg funeral home, Cleveland from 2 PM Tuesday until 11 AM Wednesday, when it will be removed to the church to lie in state from noon until the hour of services.
