In 1902, Mrms. Ferrell moved to Oklahoma and located on the farm twelve miles southeast of Guthrie, which has been their home until his unexpected passing. Several years ago he affiliated with the Church of God.
He is survived by his faithful companion of 53 years; the three daughters - Mrs. Claude Murphy of Stillwater, Okla; Mrs. Kelly Short of Coyle, Okla; Mrs. Harley Yates of Meridian, Okla; one son, Albert of Cashion, Okla; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Other survivors include 2 sisters and 2 brothers, Mrs. Dola Thompson, Mrs. Roxalana Bell, Lark Ferrell, all of Valley Falls and John T. Ferrell of Denison, Kansas, also a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were conducted from the Smith Funeral Home (in Guthrie) and burial was in the cemetery near Guthrie, Oklahoma.
