William R. Sixel, 74, of the Village of Cleveland, died this morning
of a lingering illness at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital.
A native of the Town of Centerville (Manitowoc County), he was born
Feb. 24, 1886, a son of the late George and Anna Wusch Sixel.
He had engaged in farming and land drainage work in the Manitowoc-
Sheboygan County area while making his home with a brother, Otto, on
the home farm in Centerville. Mr. Sixel, who never married, moved to
Cleveland in 1930.
He was a member of Ss. John and Peter Lutheran Church at Cleveland.
Surviving, in addition to the brother, Otto, is another brother, August,
Sheboygan.
Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be at 1:30 Saturday at the Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel in
Cleveland with the Rev. Samuel Kugler of Liberty acting pastor of Ss.
John and Peter Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery,
Centerville.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 3 p.m. Friday.
