Funeral services will be held at 11a.m., Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1033 S. Eighth St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Steven Hahm will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Hulda was born Feb. 1, 1910 in the town of Newton, daughter of the late Carl and Charlotte (Gosse) Franzmeier. She attended schools at Newton and on June 16, 1934 was married to Edmund Nass at Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church. They celebrated 53 years together. Edmund preceded her in death July 12, 1987. Hulda was a member of First
German Evangelical Lutheran Church and was active with the Ladies Aid of the Church.
Survivors include two sons: Daniel (Maralynn) Nass, Gainesville, Fla.; Roger (Diana) Nass, Greendale; daughter-in-law: Joan Nass, Manitowoc; three grandsons: David (Dianne)Nass, Green Bay; Jeffrey (Kim) Nass, West Bend; and Michael Nass, Palmyra; five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Edmund, Hulda was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Relatives and friends may greet the family from 9 a.m. Monday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church until the time of service at 11 a.m. Memorials would be appreciated to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
