Thelma died Wednesday in her home at 1320 North Marion Street. Mrs Briggs was born in Centralia Nov. 25, 1901, the daughter of John and Cora Carey. She lived in Centralia in early life and was married to Marshall D. Briggs in Chehalis. The family came to Olympia 34 years ago. Mrs. Briggs was a member of the Eastern Star and the White Shrine in Centralia, Surviving are her husband, Marshall D. who recently retired from the telephone company; a son Marshall L. Briggs, Raymond; a brother Charles Carey, Montesano, and Three grandchildren, Marsha, Randy, and Rick. And many neices and nephews.
A funeral service will be held in Mills and Mills chapel this Saturday morning, starting at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery Centralia, Washington
