Otto Bratz, 80, a retired town of Eaton farmer, died Wednesday evening at his home in the town of Schleswig north of Kiel. He had been in failing health for two years.
A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bratz, the deceased was born in Schleswig in 1869 and after his marriage to the former Bertha Reichard of Liberty in 1904, settled on a farm in the town of Eaton. The couple had farmed there until their retirement four years ago when they moved to their most recent home.
Surviving are the wife; a son, Herbert of Schleswig, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Kujawski of Manitowoc and Mrs. Helmuth Boeldt of Schleswig; and 10 grandchildren.
One brother also survived. A daughter, Hilda and six brothers preceded him in death.
