Mrs. Bratz, nee Bertha Reichardt, was born July 1, 1880, in Germany, daughter of the late William and Augusta Rusch Reichardt. She came to the U.S. with her parents at the age of two. They located in the Town of Liberty. She was married to Otto Bratz July 1, 1904, in the Town of Eaton, where they lived until 1946, moving to the Town of Schleswig. Her husband preceded her in death April 12, 1950. She was a member of the Bethlehem United Church of Christ and Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Survivors include a son, Herbert, of Rt. 1, New Holstein, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Erna) Kujawski, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Helmuth (Edna) Boeldt, of Rt. 1, Kiel, 11 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. A daughter
preceded her in death.
