She was born in Sheboygan on May 18, 1941, a daughter of Fred and Cecelia (Wagner) Mayer.
On April 4, 1959, Lois was united in marriage to Donald Dhein.
Lois enjoyed being a homemaker, caring for the needs of her family and decorating the house to make it a home. Even though she suffered with severe arthritis, she still loved to plant and grow flowers in her garden.
Surviving Lois is her husband, Don; two sons, Bruce (Debbie) of rural Ada, Scott (special friend, Brandy) of Manitowoc; four grandchildren; her mother, Cecelia Mayer of New Holstein; two sisters, Joan (John) Turba of New Holstein and Mary (Dick) Vande Hei of DePere; two brothers, Tom and Fred (Roxanne) Mayer, both of Sheboygan; her father-in-law, Woodrow Dhein of Cleveland; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph (Luellen) Dhein of Howards Grove, Jerry (Trudy) Dhein of Manitowoc and Jim (Joyce) Dhein of Cedarburg. Lois was preceded in death by her father, Fred; her mother-in-law, Esther Dhein; a sister, Betty Schmidt and a brother-in-law, Jim Buzaitis.
Interment will follow at St. Johannes Cemetery, Hika Bay.
