Mrs. John Meindle
Mrs. John Meindle of the town of Eau Pleine died at her home at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the age of 79.

She had been a resident of the Junction City area for nearly 40 years.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Martens Funeral Home in Junction City, and Burial will follow in Runkel Cemetery in the town of Eau Pleine. Rev. Perry H. Saito of St. Paul Methodist Church, Stevns Point, will conduct the rites.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Meindle, the former Alma Boettcher was born in Bonduel on April 28, 1876, a daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Gottfried Boettcher. Her marriage to Mr. Meindle took place in Milwaukee on Feb. 18 1899, and the couple moved to the Junction City vicinity in 1916.

Mrs. Meindle had been seriously ill for one month before her death.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Miss Eulalia Meindle and Mrs. Harold G. Kopperud of Stevens Point, and Mrs Harry Cartwright of Junction City; four sons, Ormand, Louis, Edwin and Jack Meindle of Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a brother Henry Boettcher of Birnamwood.

Her Parents, a sister and three brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral Of Mrs Meindle

Services were held at the Martens Funeral Home in Junction City Thursday afternoon for Mrs. John Meindle of the town of Eau Pleine, who died at her home Monday.

Rev. Perry H. Saito of St. Paul's Methodist Church, Stevens Point, Officiated the at the services and burial follwed in Runkle Cemetery, town of Eau Pleine.

Pallbearers were Fred Brown, Carl Grestad, Clarence Bernhagen, Edward Havitz, Sylvester Robak and Joe a Mallek.

"Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "My Task" were sung during the rites by Mrs. Perry H. Saito, accompanied by Mrs. Frank Roach.

Attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Ormand Meindle and daughter, Doreen. Mr and Mrs. Louis Meindle, Mr. and Mrs Edwin Meindle, Jack Meindle, Karen Kopperud, Mrs. Helen Means, Mrs Arthur Kopperud and Esta Boettcher, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boettcher, Birnamwood; Mr and Mrs. Roland Boettcher, Wausau; Mrs. Joseph Fredericks, Mrs. Kathryn Borst, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hessv Sr. and Mrs. Robert Hessv. Jr. Mosinee; Mrs. Gerald Olson and daughter Geraldine, Eagle River, Mrs. Donald Herrmann, Wittenberg; Mrs. George Huber, Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Specht and Mrs. William Mitchell Bonduel. Mrs R. J. Woldt Shawano; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Schrader and daughter Sharon, Beaver Dam; Mrs. Anna Stephens, Hermann, Minn. and others from Stevens Point Custer and the surrounding area.
