The former Marie M. Semph was born February 20, 1894 in the Town of Meeme, the daughter of the late Henry and Ida Schmidt Semph. On June 24, 1914 she married Charles A. Starck, of the Town of Meeme. The couple were married at St. John United Church of Chirst, of Srhwartzwald.
The couple owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Meeme, until retiring in 1961 and moving to Sheboygan. She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Ladies Aid, former Farm Bureau member and Home Maker's Club, of Town of Meeme.
Mrs. Starck is survived by her husband, Charles A.; two sons, Gerhard Starck, Sheboygan and Melvin Starck. of Howards Grove; ten grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one brother, Walter Semph, of Howards Grove. She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday. 7 p.m. at Ebenezer United Church of Christ. Rev. pr, Robert Page, pastor, of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, will officiate. Entombment will be at Garden Terrace Mausoleum. Friends may call at church on Friday, 2 p m., until the time of service.
