Godfried (Goff) Kramer, age 78, of Wild Rose, WI., passed away on Monday, September 25th, 2006 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.
He was born in Newton, WI., on October 16, 1927, a son of the late Andrew and Anna (Weinberger) Kramer.
He married Susan (Steinhilber) DeVoe on December 22, 1973 in Las Vegas, NV.
Mr. Kramer had been employed by Gabes Construction Co. He was self employed with a Dry Cleaning and Laundromat Service for many years. He had retired from the Wild Rose School District in 1990. Mr. Kramer was an active member of the Wild Rose United Methodist Church. He had been a member of the Sheboygan Elks Club, the Wisconsin Fabricare Dry Cleaning Association and the Waushara Country Club. He enjoyed golfing, watching football and NASCAR, and winters in Florida. His greatest enjoyment was gardening and growing flowers.
Surviors include his Wife: Susan Kramer, Wild Rose, WI; 3 Children: Lynette Feller, Ft. Myers, FL; Leanne (Paul) Pischke, Oshkosh, WI; Thomas (Cynthia) DeVoe, Oshkosh, WI; Grandson and best buddy, Joshua DeVoe, Oshkosh, WI; Granddaughter: Amy Pischke, Oshkosh, WI; Sister: Anne Dortman, Sheboygan, WI; 3 Sisters-in-law. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Henry, Andrew, John and David Kramer and 1 sister, Emily Weigert.
A Memorial Service will be held at Wild Rose United Methodist Church in Wild Rose at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 29th, with Reverend Diane R. Fite officiating.
Interment of cremains will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh, WI. Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, from 11 AM until the time of the service at the church. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
