Geraldine "Geri" Froh, 90, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday evening, September 3, 2017 at the Sheboygan Senior Community where she had been residing for the past year and a half.

Born December 7, 1926 in Sheboygan, Geri was a daughter of the late Herman and Hertha (Wilke) Gumm. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School. On July 17, 1948, she was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Froh at St. John's UCC in Sheboygan. They were married for 52 years before Ken preceded her in death on October 18, 2000.

Geri and Ken owned and operated Ken Froh Jewelers on 8th Street for 43 years, retiring in 1998. She previously worked for the H.C. Prange Co. before her marriage. She was a lifelong member of St. John's UCC and the Women's Guild. She also belonged to the Sheboygan Optimists Club, the VFW Auxiliary and the Sheboygan Elks Lodge. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, traveling, camping and her neighborhood card club. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her honesty, her willingness to help others and her sense of humor. Throughout their working years, Geri and Ken enjoyed the friendships shared with their many customers.

Geri is survived by her two children, Michael (Susie White) Froh, Elkhart Lake, and Christine (Tom) Walvoord, Plymouth; her four grandchildren, Joe (Brenda) Walvoord, Golden Valley, MN, Rachel Moyer, Plymouth, MN, Peter (Amanda) Walvoord, West Allis, and Phillip (Gina Johnson) Schneider, Anchorage, AK; her eight great grandchildren, Macalaster and Madelyn Walvoord, Golden Valley, MN, Isabel and Lucinda Moyer, Plymouth, MN, Nora Walvoord, West Allis, Max, Otto and Aksel Schneider, Anchorage, AK; her brother, Ronald Gumm; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ken, her sister Beatrice (Roger) Schlafke and her sister-in-law Ann Gumm.

Funeral services for Geri will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at St. John's UCC, 1248 Lincoln Avenue, Sheboygan. The Rev. Gregory Whelton will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Friday the 29th from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery.
