Passed away peacefully on September 15, 2005 in Gig Harbor, WA at the age of 91. Blanche was born in Coeur D'Alene, ID on December 12, 1913 as the 3rd oldest of 9 children to Nicodemus Wernette, Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of Idaho and his wife, Ozalinda. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Bob Flajole, 7 sisters and one brother. Blanche is survived by her youngest sister, Dolores (Gene) Velling of Altadena, CA; sons Bobby (Carol) of Monroe, Terry (Nancy) of Gig Harbor, Dick (Linda) of Kirkland and Jack (Patti) of Seattle; grandsons Rob, Brian, Brad, Kyle, Tim, Ben and Pat Flajole; granddaughters Mimi (Flajole) Flowers and Stacy (Flajole) (Kevin) Kingsley; and great-grandsons Christian and Samuel Kingsley. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Thursday, September 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with a Reception following. Remembrances may be made to the Jesuit Seminary Association, Portland, OR.
