The former Stella Huhn was born September 20, 1908 in Cleveland, a daughter of the late William and Minna Fenn Huln.
On October 11, 1924 she married Fred Rust. He died January 19, 1982. She was a member of St. Joh-St. Peter Lutheran Church Cleveland, until she came to Sheboygan. While living wih her daughter she became a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Stella is survived by five sons, Lloyd rust, of Lemont, Ill; burdelle (Sandra) Rust, of Fond du Lac, WI; Dale (Sharon) Rust of Kokomo, IN; Dallas (Martha) Rust, of Jackonville, FL; Daryl Rust of Ukiah, CA; three daughters, Danelgene Hokenson, of Victorville, CA; Mrs. Charmaine (Ardon) Roethel, of Ada; Mrs. Verla (Charles) Leonard of Sheboygan; 29 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; five step great-great grandchildren; one brother, Arno ( Viola) Huhn, of Cleveland and four sisters, gladys Wilke and Mrs. Corrine (Arnold) Seliger, both of Sheboygan; Mrs. Irene (Harvey) Leonard, of Kiel; Mrs. Lucille (Mutzie) Klemme, of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by one son, one grandson and four sisters.
Funeral services for Stell Rose Rust will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, April 1, 1989 at Calvary Lutheran Church. The Rev. August K Ristow will officiate. Interment will be at the St. Johannes Cemetery in Cleveland.
Friends may call at the Nickel-Lippert Funeral Home, on Friday, from 4p.m. until 9 p.m. and at the church on Saturday, from 9a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mrs. Rust's name.
