James Douglass died at Ashville, Cambria County, Wednesday morning at 2
o'clock after an illness of about one week with
pneumonia. Deceased was born November
29, 1821. He was married to Mary Noel, January
14, 1848, and is
survived by the following children:
William of Altoona; Mrs. Jacob Stoltz and Milton of Chest Springs; Mrs.
Augustine Daugherty of Ashville and James, at home. He is also survived by the
following brothers
and sisters: John H. Douglass of Altoona; Mrs. Jane Green and Mrs. Peter
McKenzie of
Chest Springs and Thomas of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
