Mr. Pierce died at his home here early Tuesday.
Interment will be in the Crowville Masonic cemetery under direction of Mulhearn Funeral home Winnsboro.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Missouri Pierce, Winnsboro; [one daughter,] Mrs. Marie Stringer, Jonesboro; three sons, J. T. Pierce, T. C. Pierce, V. W. Pierce, all of Winnsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Lee, Vivian, and Mrs. F. Nugent, Verda; and one brother, George Pierce, Haynesville; 25 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
