Louie was the daughter of William G. Lowther and Emily Jane (Jennie) (Kendall) Lowther. She Graduated from the Business College at Lebanon, Ohio and Marshall College In Huntington , WV. She taught school in Wood Co. WV finishing that career in 1905 . She married Charles William Beyer in July 10, 1906. She moved to Va for a few years with her new husband then returned to WV just before the birth of her last daughter.. Her childrens names are (Twins, Marie & Hazel), Lucille,and Eloise.
