Mrs. Ruel Thompson, 49, a lifelong resident of the Town of Liberty, died early Friday following surgery at the Theda Clark Memorial Hospital in Neenah. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday at Our Savior Lutheran Church at Valders. The Rev. A.B. Holland will officiate and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson, the former Esther Harvey was born in the Town of Liberty in 1894 and was married to Ruel Thompson in 1918. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Nicoloff of Libertyville, Ill., Mrs. Joyce Loritz of Valders and Miss Judy Thompson at home; one son, Harvey of Ames, Iowa; a brother, Roy Harvey of Billings, Mont.; and one grandchild. Friends may call at the Berge Funeral Home from 2 pm Sunday until 11 am Monday, when the body will be moved to the church.
