ALICE THOMPSON

Miss Alice Thompson, 48, of Valders, died Thursday afternoon at 4:25 o'clock at Holy Family hospital where she had been a resident for one day. Death was due to a blood clot. Miss Thompson was the daughter of Thomas and Andrea Torrison Thompson. She was born in the town of Liberty June 10, 1892 and except for 18 years during which she lived in Chicago, she spent her entire life in this county. She was a dress designer.

Five sisters survive. They are Miss Nettie Thompson, Mrs. Clara Thorson, Mrs. Clarence Gilbertson and Miss Olga Thompson, all of Valders, and Mrs. George Gilbertson of Route 3, Manitowoc.

The body may be viewed at the Berge funeral home at Valders from Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock until the funeral which will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Berge's and at 2 o'clock at Our Saviour's church, Valders. The Rev. R.B. Walden will officiate.
