Bridget Hennigan was born about 1850 to Patrick Hennigan in Cornageeha Killasser, Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland. She married Dominick Waters February 10, 1884 in Killasser Church, Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland. They had six children, Mary Ann, Patrick, Bridget Agnes, Catherine, Agnes and Helen. When her husband died at 60 years old he left her a widow with six children, the youngest being 3 years old. Her only son, Patrick took over the family farm and all her girls emmigrated to the United States. She never saw them again. She died at 73 years old of stomach trouble.
