GILLILAND, Brenda P., 59, of Montgomery passed away on Thursday,Nov. 3, 2011. A native of Montgomery worked for over 25 years as an insurance clerk, for Dr. John E. Hackman. She was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church until it closed in 2005 and currently was a member of Heritage Baptist Church of Montgomery.
Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Annette Poitevint and mother-in-law, Bessie Gilliland. She is survived by her husband, Henry Gilliland of Montgomery; daughters, Jennifer Gilliland Rutland and her husband, Casey, Amy Gilliland, both of Montgomery; sister, Rena Gilliland and husband, Leo; brothers-in-law, David Gilliland and wife, Debbie, Richard Gilliland; grandchildren, Caden and Shelby Rutland; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr. Teman Knight and Rev.John Gaines officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the Legacy Fund at Heritage Baptist Church, Montgomery.
