EMMA LUTZE (d. 1962)
Mrs. Emma Lutze, 71, of the Town of Mosel died Monday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Leslie Fischer, of the Town of Mosel. She had been in ill health for some time. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Cleveland, with the Rev. Gerhard Cares officiating. Burial will be in Saxon Cemetery, Cleveland.
She was born April 8, 1891, at Centerville, daughter of the late George and Anna Jarchow Wagner. She was married April 2, 1912, to Oscar F. Lutze. The couple operated a farm in the Town of Meeme. Her husband died in 1945. She was a member of the Lutheran church at Cleveland.
Among survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Leslie Fischer of the Town of Mosel and Mrs. Ray Sixel of Rt. 1, Sheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Lutze and Mrs. John Lutze of Cleveland and three grandchildren. Two sisters and brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland, until 11 a.m. Thursday when the casket will be moved to the church and the body will lie in state from noon until time of service.
