He died Aug. 21 in Palmer. He was born Feb. 24, 1928, in Sheboygan, Wisc. He came to Alaska 48 years ago. At the time of his death, he was a maintenance mechanic for the Mat-Su School District.
Survivors are his wife, Rosella of Palmer; five sons, Daniel of Fairbanks, and Carl, Steven, Gary and David all of Palmer; three grandchildren; one brother, Frank of Palmer and four sisters, Evelyn Harter of Arizona, and Lollie Contini, Annabelle Chowanlec and Pat Whitt, all of Palmer.
Pallbearers will be Ken Loyer, Terry Bradley, Tom Bielar, Wayne Young, Jim Hermon and Wayne Bouwens.
Burial will bei n the Palmer City Cemetery.
