Kermit H. Liermann, age 85, of 13201 Rusch Road, Valders
Wis., entered eternal life on Tuesday afternoon, February 17, 2015 at Sharon S.Richardson Community Hospice, Sheboygan Falls. Kermit was born on April 1, 1929,
in Rural Route 1, Manitowoc Wis. He was the son of the late Helmuth and Hertha (Brick) Liermann. Kermit attended Valders High School and graduated with the class of 1947. On August 18, 1954 he married Mabel Boeldt and shared 56 plus years of marriage. She preceded him in death on May 17, 2011. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956 as a paratrooper, honorably discharged as a sargent. In 1958, he purchased what is the Liermann Sawmill which he owned until 1994 but continued to be involved in until 2009 after selling it to his son,James.

Lifelong member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Township of Liberty. He was a school board member, church treasurer, building committee, constitution committee and a lawn cutter. Always being a thoughtful, quiet, responsible helper to his families, children and grandchildren, church and community.

He is survived by two sons and three daughters-in-law: Allen and Ann Liermann, Rhinelander; Dale and Mary Kay Liermann, Clover; Mary Liermann, rural Valders; one daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Eric Vant Hul, Cleveland, WI; thirteen grandchildren: Brad, Peter, Amber, Alex, Abby, Eli, Ruby, Jada, Myra and Liza Liermann, Brittany (Obester) and Chad Kell, Felicia and Evan Vant Hul; one brother and sister-in-law; Richard and Lorraine Liermann, Manitowoc, WI; two sisters-in-law: Elaine Liermann, Eagle River, WI; Vera Liermann,
Manitowoc; two brothers-in-law: Norman (Judith) Boeldt, Howards Grove, WI; Vernon (Jane) Boeldt, New Holstein, WI; three sisters-in-law: Marion (Otto) Hartwig, Plymouth, WI; Betty Groth, Oshkosh, WI; Jane (Garret) Hanke, Howards Grove, WI; special note for Bill Surfus who took Dad fishing; other friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Mabel; one son: James Liermann; his parents: Helmuth and Hertha (Brick) Liermann; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Helmuth and Edna (Bratz) Boeldt; two brothers: Orville and Helmuth Jr. Liermann; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Lorraine and Markus Nagel, Fern and Willard Leiteritz, Bernice and Dennis Hasenstein, Donald Groth.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 11303 Wehausen Road in the town of Liberty. Officiating will be the Rev. Gregory Pope with burial to follow at the church cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church on Friday, February 20, 2015, from 5 to 8 p.m. and then on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
