1880 Census: located in Plymouth, Box Elder, Utah, living with his brother John, and sister Mary Ann and her 6 children. Mary Ann had divorced her husband.

1920 Census: located in Penrose, Box Elder, Utah. Single

Moved to State Mental Hospital, Kaysville, Utah, about Feb, 1923, near his sister Martha Allen Rollins.

Moved to Provo Mental hospital 1 October, 1924, where he died on 12 October due to age-related dementia and senility, according to his death certificate. Martha signed the certificate, more evidence of how the family stuck together over a lifetime. Similarly, Peter Allen, signed the death certificate for his brother John. Both are mentioned above.
