Retired Farmer Dies at Dumont - Funeral Will Be Held Sunday
Dumont - Funeral services for Elmer Elisha Yost, 82, who died of a heart attack at his home Tuesday, will be held Sunday at 1 p. m. at the home and at 1:45 at the Hitesville church, the Rev. Oliver Smith of Waterloo officiating. Burial will be in the Hitesville cemetery. Mr. Yost was born in Butler county and lived on a farm all his life until the last 2 years when he made his home in Dumont Surviving are his wife and 8 children, as follows: Guy, Long Lake, Minn.; William and Arthur of Allison; Chauncey of Wisconsin; Mrs. Pat Hogum, Iona Falls; Mrs. Ella Ackerman and Ray Yost, Cedar Falls; Mrs. Fred Schriever of Parkersburg. He also leaves 4 brothers and one sister.
