Services for Mrs. Rachel May McLaren, a resident of the Western Home, will be 1 p. m. Friday at Nottger-Schoff funeral home with the Rev. J. I. LaFavre officiating. Burial will be in Hitesville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a. m. Thursday. Mrs. McLaren was born Mav 22, 1876, the daughter of Jacob and Evaline Scott Yost. She married John McLaren at Allison, March 19, 1899. She was a member of the United Brethren Church at Hitesville and Alli son. She was preceded in death by her husband and seven brothers. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Paul C. (Doris) Schaeffer. 1306 W. 6th St., Mrs. Lila D. Shreve. 127 E. 22nd St., Mrs. Wesley D. (Thelma) Tellinghuisen of Montrose, Colo., and Mrs. Martin (Merna) Van Duyn of Hudsonville, Mich.; three sons, G. Vernon and John of Allison and Donald of Aplington ; 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
