Mrs. Rose Greve, 80, of Brillion, widow of Robert, died today at the Calumet Homestead, New Holstein after a lingering illness.

She was born Feb. 14, 1895, in the town of Maple Grove, Manitowoc County, the daughter of the late William and Maria Schwandner Ziegler. On April 7, 1915, she was married to Mr. Greve at Kasson, Manitowoc County. He died in 1971. The couple farmed in the Brillion area until 1969 when they retired and moved to Brillion.

Mrs. Greve was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hilbert.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Verna) Meyer of Sheboygan, Mrs. John R. (Gladys) Behnke of Brillion, Mrs. Loyal (Landora) Ross of Neenah and Mrs. Kenneth (Bernice) Eichhorst of Brillion; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Clara Joedike of West Bend, Mrs. Elmer Ryker, Miss Amanda Ziegler, Mrs. Marvin Lehmann and Mrs. William Henkel, all of Milwaukee; a brother, Oscar Ziegler of Brillion.

A brother and four grandchildren preceded her in death.

Funeral services were at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hilbert. The Rev. Robert Novotney, officiated. Burial was in the Bluff Cemetery, Brillion.
