RITES FOR MRS. DAHL TO BE HELD SATURDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Dahl, 57, 200 ½ Main Ave, will be held at 2pm Saturday in the chapel of the Hall funeral home.

The Rev. S. B. Gruneich will officiate and burial will be made in Fairview cemetery.

Mrs. Dahl died in a local hospital Wednesday morning. She had been ill for three days.

A native of Bismarck, she was born here on Oct. 5, 1894, the daughter of Thomas and Arvilla Holbrook Gandy. She attended schools and was married to William Markham here in 1913. He died in the early 40's. She was married to John Dahl in 1943. She was a member of Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Mrs. Dahl leaves seven sons: Frank Markham, Goose Bay, OR., George Markham, Spokane, WA., David Markham, Portland, OR., Jesse Markham, Junction City, OR., Charles Markham, Glendive, MT., Harry Markham, Seattle, WA., and Lloyd Markham, Bismarck and 32 grandchildren.

She leaves six brothers: Edward Gandy, Bismarck, George and Wesley Gandy, both of Minneapolis, Charles Gandy, Spokane, WA., Thomas Gandy, Pierre, S.D., and James Gandy, La Grande, OR.

One son preceded her in death.

The body is at the Hall funeral home.
