Mrs. Roland E. Freis, 66, of 819 First St., Kiel, died Monday afternoon at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital.
The former Linda Grotegut was born Dec. 12, 1902 in the Town of Centerville, a daughter of the late Ernst and Mary Dehne Grotegut.
She attended the district school.
On Sept. 26, 1922, she was married to Roland E. Freis of the Town of Centerville.
The couple lived in the township and later moved to Two Creeks where he operated a garage business. They moved to Kiel in 1927, and in 1932 he established the Freis Von Kiel Poultry and Feed.Mrs. Freis was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Kiel, the Loyal Neighbor Lodge and the Senior Citizens.
One sister preceded her in death.
